The Two-Bucket Car Wash Method

Cyclone Dirt Trap Bucket Insert
Both the car wash soap solution bucket and  the dirty mitt rinse bucket need a tool to  separate abrasive dirt from the water, so  Chemical Guys stocked every Two Bucket Kit  with two Dirt Trap Wash Bucket Inserts. Use  the color-coded pair for the soap bucket and  rinse bucket to keep abrasive dirt off the  car for reduced risk of installing scratches  and swirls. The Dirt Trap Bucket Insert uses  nearly 300 cyclone funnels to separate  abrasive dirt and debris from car wash  water. Keeping the dirt already washed away  from the car reduces the chances of  installing swirls and scratches caused by  scrubbing with abrasive dirt. Traditional  car wash strainers use large open screens  and vertical fins in an attempt to hold dirt  at the bottom of a wash bucket. Mr. Pink and Citrus Wash & Gloss: Use just 1  ounce (about 3 capfuls) of preferred  Chemical Guys car wash soap in 5 gallon  bucket of water. Use up to 3 ounces for  heavily soiled vehicles.
