Caffà © latex is a highly innovative tire sealant (and puncture preventive), now very popular for various cycling applications in the main markets.
FEATURES:
Foaming effect activated by movement: the first of the advantages of Caffà © latex over classic latex-based sealants comes from a foaming agent (Actifoam ™), activated by the movement of the wheel. Centrifugal force carries traditional sealants towards the outer circumference of the moving wheel. The foaming action of Caffà © latex allows it to fill the internal cavity of the tire, making it much more effective against punctures on the sidewalls.

Anti-puncture action: the rapid anti-puncture action makes Caffà © latex ideal as a preventive or sealant for tubeless MTB and road, tubular and normal tires: it repairs holes up to 5 mm (mtb) and 3 mm (road).
Stability over time: thanks to its formulation, Caffà © latex is very stable and long lasting, but this is highly dependent on the type of application and external conditions. During our field tests, Caffà © latex remained liquid for over 12 months in sturdy tubeless tires mounted on UST wheels. In any case, not being able to know the specific conditions of use of our customers (type of wheels / tires, wall thickness and porosity of the tire, external temperature and humidity, storage conditions of the bicycle "¦), we recommend checking the condition of Caffà © latex every 2 months, to make sure it is still liquid and thus maintains its preventive action against punctures. Once dry, Caffà © latex will no longer actively repair punctures, but the wheels will still remain airtight.
Recommended quantities
Free of aggressive elements: as it does not contain ammonia, it is 100% compatible with tires and rims. It is also very popular in cyclocross and used as a preventive for tubulars, not damaging the delicate latex chambers in the least.
Use and storage temperatures: effective over a wide range of temperatures, unlike first generation latex-based sealants (use: -20 / + 50 ° C ~ storage: -15 / + 30 ° C).
Recommended quantities: from 30 to 50 ml per wheel for road / cyclo-cross applications; 50 ml for mtb tires up to 26à — 2.10 / 29à — 2.00; from 60 to 100 ml for mtb tires with dimensions over 26à — 2.10 / 29à — 2.00.
