Battery boxes are modified to fit regular AA and NiZn (1.6v) AA batteries.
Recharegeable batteries
are oddly sized and will fail in other battery boxes.
This mod makes for a proper fit and works great where all others fail.
Works great with
any
(1.5v) AA battery. This is a
low drain
device.
Recommend Alkaline batteries (1.5v)
or
Ni-Zn rechargeable (1.6v)
NiZn batteries work the best!
They blow the
doors off anything else!
