Vagisan lactic acid is a product in the form of vaginal suppositories (pessary) to support the vaginal flora. Containing lactic acid and sodium lactate.
Vagizan suppositories are used to maintain and restore the natural pH levels in the vagina, which are normally between 3.8 and 4.4. Vagizan lactic acid quickly and effectively compensates for the effects of alkaline body fluids, such as menstrual blood or semen (their pH levels are above 7).
The product is well tolerated, candles can be used during pregnancy and lactation. In women prone to frequent vaginal infections, suppositories are safe for long-term use. It does not contain heat-sensitive fatty ingredients and this eliminates the need for refrigeration.
Normally acidic vaginal environments provide natural protection against infections. Maintaining pH with the help of lactic acid promotes the growth of "good" lactic acid bacteria, which are a very important part of the vaginal flora.

How to use:
Insert one candle as deep as possible into the vagina the night before bed. The spark plug is easier to insert if it is pre-soaked under running water. It is recommended to use a daily dressing due to the high solubility of the suppositories, which can cause increased secretion.
The duration of application is usually 5 - 7 days. Vagisan Lactic acid can also be used two to three times a week for an extended period of time (one candle in the evening).
